Earlier this year, I began work on a book with the working title Women Who Pivot and a goal of publishing in early 2024. This book has been in my head for a long time and now I’ve got an amazing community of fellow authors and writers to write with, and support me through the journey. I’ve already sent my editor my first draft for feedback (which is exciting and makes this all very real!)
The book will discuss what things force pivots, what women learn from them, the adjustments they make for the short and long game, and how careers and career goals are not linear. I’m tapping into my own experiences as well as incorporating experiences from other women. Over the next few months, I’ll be sharing key pieces of the journey with you — things I’m learning, conversations I’m having, writing and book milestones, and sharing pieces and stories from the book.
And I’d love your help! If you know of anyone who has a pivot story and might be a good interview for the book (even you) please send me a message using the contact button in the footer. That’s one of the most rewarding parts of the experience so far is talking to so many interesting people for and about the book.
